The Sanctuary houses grace-working images of Merciful Jesus and the relics of St. Faustina. Visit the Shrine of Divine Mercy, St. Faustina's convent chapel, and her tomb. See the displayed relic of Blessed Pope John Paul II where his robe contains the blood stain from when he was shot in 1981. Rest at the hotel and prepare for dinner.
  • Day 3: After breakfast, take a tour of Wawel Royal Castle. Then descend into the underground chambers of the Wieliczka Salt Mines for an unparalleled tour of the medieval galleries and halls carved out of rocks and salt deposits. Dinner and overnight in Krakow.
  • Day 4: After breakfast, Depart for Wadowice, the birthplace of Karol Wojtyla. Visit the church he was to have attended and was baptized as a child. Then off to Aushwitz where you will visit the impressive Holocaust Memorial. Dinner and overnight in Krakow.
  • Day 5: After breakfast take a bus ride north to Czestochowa. Visit Our Lady of Czestochowa, Poland's greatest pilgrimage shrine, where there will be mass. Return to hotel for some free time before dinner. Dinner and overnight in Krakow.
  • Day 6: After breakfast, depart to the Czech Republic. Check-in Hotel in Prague. After arriving in Prague, variously called the "Golden City" or "The City of 100 Spires," the remainder of your day is at leisure. You will adore Prague, whose historic center has been included on the UNESCO list of World Heritage sites since 1992. This evening, join your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner.
  • Day 7: In the morning we will visit the Prague Castle district where we will tour St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George Basilica, the Golden Lane, Loreto Church, and the Strahov Monastery. We will celebrate Mass at the Church of Our Lady Victorious and see there the renowned statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague. This celebration takes place in honor of the 130th anniversary of Our Lady of Lourdes parish in Cleveland Ohio. We will stop at Nerudova street for lunch accompanied by the tasty Czech beer. In the afternoon we will see St. Nicholas Church, visit the Lesser Town to see the medieval Charles Bridge that is adorned with many baroque statues, and end with the Astronomic Clock which contains the figures of the 12 apostles. Dinner and overnight in Prague.
  • Day 8: Built on the seven hills more than 1000 years ago and situated on both banks of the Vltava River, Prague is one of the most attractive cities in Europe. Today you visit Prague’s Old Jewish Quarter. See its historic Jewish Museum and Europe's oldest surviving Jewish cemetery, founded in 1478. Have a free afternoon and enjoy the imperial city of Prague. Get ready for a farewell dinner. Dinner and overnight in Prague.
  • Day 9: Departure for USA from Prague.
  • Please note: We do our best to ensure that all sites listed in this itinerary will be seen. However, due to scheduling conflicts, or other circumstances beyond our control, sites may be visited on a different day than listed. If this happens it will also necessitate a change in the restaurant for dinner. However, we will never sacrifice the quality of the meal, all restaurants will meet Proximo Travel's very high standards. Since we have several different trip configurations touring at the same time, it is likely that groups on different tours will be combined when their itineraries overlap in certain areas.
