Flights to France

  • Flights from your hometown! We fly you to France on flights that can originate from anywhere in the U.S. where published. You will know your flight information only after you pay your balance 120 days prior to departure. We use only reliable major airlines.

Trip Includes

  • Daily Mass is available but not mandatory. Proximo Travel always has one or more Catholic Priests accompanying the group as chaplain(s).

Hotels listed below are our preferred hotels. If reservations cannot be made at one or more of these locations, a comparable hotel will be reserved. We only use 4 or 5 star accommodations.

Trip Itinerary
  • Day 1: Departure from USA.
  • Day 2: We arrive in Paris with some time to freshen up before enjoying dinner near your hotel. Overnight in Paris.
  • Day 3: Visit the beautiful Cathedral of Notre Dame which has always been the religious center of Paris. Tour the Sainte-Chapelle (Holy Chapel) with its world renowned stained glass windows and admire its beautiful Rayonnant style Gothic architecture. Perhaps even sample some ice cream at Berthillon. Lunch on Ile St. Louis or in the District of Marais. In the afternoon, take a city bus tour visiting St. Vincent de Paul and the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. See the beautiful sites of the Palace of the Invalides, the Eiffel Tower, Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomphe. Dinner around 6pm. After dinner, cruise along the Seine River and see all the beautiful sights lit up from the Seine River. Overnight in Paris.
  • Day 4: Visit the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa and the winged victory Nike. Perhaps even sample some fabulous chocolate at the Louvre from the famous Maison de Chocolat. Spend some free time in the Tuileries Gardens. After lunch, visit the Basilica of Sacre Coeur and see the artists along Montmartre. Dinner around 7pm. Overnight in Paris.
  • Day 5: Early start with a bus ride to Lisieux. Visit the home of St. Therese (Les Buissonets) and the Cathedral and Basilica. Return to Paris after lunch. Dinner and overnight in Paris.
  • Day 6: Early start with a bus ride to Nevers, a town in the Burgundy region of France renowned for its high quality porcelain. Visit the Convent of St. Gildard where the undisturbed body of St. Bernadette lies. Visit the Cathedral of Saint Cyr-Sainte-Juliette and the pilgrim church of St. Etienne. Dinner and overnight in Paris.
  • Day 7: Late start with a bus ride to Chartres to visit the beautiful Gothic Chartres Cathedral ~ now a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walk the famous labyrinth and see some of the most beautiful stained glass. Dinner and overnight in Paris.
  • Day 8: Early start with the fast-train to Lourdes. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way to Lourdes. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.
  • Day 9: Start the day by celebrating Mass at the Grotto of Apparitions. We will enjoy a walking tour of Lourdes visiting places associated with St. Bernadette’s life, which is helpful to understand the 1858 Apparition. Afternoon is free to visit the Grotto, the underground Basilica or the "Miraculous Baths". After dinner, gather for the evening Candlelight Rosary Procession. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.
  • Day 10: Depart Toulouse for the USA
  • Please note: We do our best to ensure that all sites listed in this itinerary will be seen. However, due to scheduling conflicts, or other circumstances beyond our control, sites may be visited on a different day than listed. If this happens it will also necessitate a change in the restaurant for dinner. However, we will never sacrifice the quality of the meal, all restaurants will meet Proximo Travel's very high standards. Since we have several different trip configurations touring at the same time, it is likely that groups on different tours will be combined when their itineraries overlap in certain areas.
