  • Single Supplement (as long as the passengers is willing to room with someone and allows us to provide them with a roommate. If the passenger wants a guaranteed room to of their own, then they have to pay the $900 single supplement)

Steps For Registration

  1. Call us (855) 842-8001 or register online with a credit card and pay your $500 deposit per person to save your spot. The $500 deposit is part of the total price of the trip.
  2. A $1,000 Additional Deposit (AD) per person is due one month from the registration. The AD is paid ONLY in the form of Check (personal, money order, or bank check).
  3. The balance is due 4 months before the trip departure date. The balance is paid ONLY in the form of Check (personal, money order, or bank check).

  • NOTE: If you sign up for a trip within 4 months of the departure date, you pay the deposit of $500 with a credit card and the balance is required to be overnighted in the form of a personal check, money order or bank check.

  • Trip Itinerary

    Day 1: Fly from your home town to Mexico City. Upon arrival you'll be greeted by a tour guide and/or driver who will take you to the hotel to get checked in. Rest a bit and enjoy a welcome dinner with the group and overnight in Mexico City.

    Day 2: Tour of the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the second most visited after Vatican City, beginning with Mass at the Basilica. After Mass we will have time for a tour of the shrine including the museum, Tepeyac Hill, Capilla del Cerrito, Tepeyac Garden, and the Chapel of the Indians. Dinner and overnight in Mexico City.

    Day 3: After breakfast we will head to the northern part of Mexico City to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Teotihuacan. We will visit the three main pyramids of this ancient site, the Pyramids of the Sun, the Moon and of the feathered serpent Quetzalcoatl. There will be free time to shop in the local arts and crafts markets and enjoy lunch. On the way back to the hotel we will stop at Acolman for a tour of the 16th century Monastery. Dinner and overnight in Mexico City.

    Day 4: This morning our bus will take us to the airport for our flight to Lima, Peru. Upon arrival we get a panoramic tour of the highlights and most important religious sites of the impressive Historical Center, such as the Archbishop’s Palace and the Cathedral, San Francisco Convent, Jesuit Church of San Pedro, and the Government's Palace. We finish with the house and church of most important saint of Lima St. Rosa, then the the Church of Las Nazarenes and La Merced. Transfer to hotel, dinner and overnight in Lima.

    Day 5: After breakfast, we tour the modern city of Lima, with the Miraflores neighbourhood and the Pre Inca ruins of Huaca Pucllana with its famous Pyramids and remains of the human sacrifice altars which were partially destroyed by Spanish Conquistadors. After transfer and boarding to our flight to Cusco, upon arrival we get an overview tour of its downtown district. Dinner show and overnight in Cusco.

    Day 6: The adventure begins by embarking on one of the most beautiful railway routes, pass through picturesque Andean landscapes and enjoy the amazing lush jungle until you arrive to the City of Aguas Calientes; here we´ll take the bus for a 30 minute drive along a zigzaging path leading to the marvelous ancient citadel. Machu Picchu may have been home to Pachacutec, firstInca emperor. Walk through passageways and alleys of the citadel enjoy and take in this unique World Heritage Site. Take free time to enjoy the mystic energy and natural beauty of the site before returning to Aguas Calientes for lunch. Dinner and overnight in Cusco

    Day 7: Fly to Buenos Aires, Argentine.

    Day 8: Upon arrival our tour guide will begin the tour with the symbol of the city, the Obelisk. This monument was built in 1936 to commemorate the 400th Anniversary of the city. We will continue with a visit to the Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada (The Pink House), which is the executive mansion and office of the President of Argentina, and the famous Opera house Teatro Colon. Continu to visit sites from the life of Pope Francis, starting with the early years when he was known as Jorge Mario Bergoglio. Our first stop is Our Lady of Mercy Church where he was baptized, and the adjoining school, St. Joseph’s, where he took his first communion and attended primary school. It was here as a teenager that he received his vocational calling. We continue to Flores, a working class town located in the center of Buenos Aires, and birthplace to Pope Francis. Following lunch, we will make our way to Maximo of San Miguel College where Pope Francis studied and later taught philosophy and theology. As a rector, he sheltered those who were “on the run” from the military dictatorship. Next, we will make our way to the Seminary Chapel, also the former living quarters of Pope Francis. Finally make our way to the Church of the Immigrant. Dinner and overnight in Buenos Aires.

    Day 9: Visit the famous Cemetery of Recoleta, the Sanctuary of Our Lady del Pilar, the Museum of Bellas Artes and the Sanctuary of San Cayetano. Then head to the countryside to visit the famous Argentine countryside and attend the Gaucho Fiesta at Santa Susana estancia. “Gaucho” meaning “the South American Cowboy”, is one of the icons of Argentina’s rural farming areas. Each year, they celebrate the gaucho way of life and all things rural, including horse parades, dancing, music and barbecued meat (a food Argentina is famous for). After lunch (included) we return to the center in the late afternoon for some free time shopping on Avenue Santa Fe, in Galería Pacífico, visit the Ateneo Library, or eat a delicious ice cream. Dinner and overnight in Buenos Aires.

    Day 10: Today, following breakfast, we will take a boat ride up north to Tigre, and visit the Parana Delta and Waterway. As you make your way through the web of inter-connecting rivers and streams, you will get to view the many English Style rowing clubs, marinas, and elegant mansions. Make a stop at San Isidro Cathedral, built in 1706 by French architects, and opened by the city founder: Captain Domingo de Acassuso. After some tea time watching the boats pass by, drive to airport to fly back home.

    Day 11: Arrival back home.

    Please note: We do our best to ensure that all sites listed in this itinerary will be seen. However, due to scheduling conflicts, or other circumstances beyond our control, sites may be visited on a different day than listed. If this happens it will also necessitate a change in the restaurant for dinner. However, we will never sacrifice the quality of the meal, all restaurants will meet Proximo Travel's very high standards.
