Steps for Registration

  1. Call us (855) 842-8001 or register online with a credit card and pay your $500 deposit per person to save your spot. The $500 deposit is part of the total price of the trip.
  2. A $1,000 Additional Deposit (AD) per person is due one month from the registration. The AD is paid ONLY in the form of Check (personal, money order, or bank check).
  3. The balance is due 4 months before the trip departure date. The balance is paid ONLY in the form of Check (personal, money order, or bank check).

  • NOTE: If you sign up for a trip within 4 months of the departure date, you pay the deposit of $500 with a credit card and the balance is required to be overnighted in the form of a personal check, money order or bank check.

  • Trip Itinerary

    June 11: Departure from USA to Milan.

    June 12: Tour of Milan. Dinner and overnight in Milan.

    June 13: Departure to Venice. Tour of Venice: an amazing city built on water. Leave for Venice in the morning on our private bus. Estimated time of arrival is 12:00 noon. Visit St. Mark's plaza. Optional: Gondola ride and shopping. Long pants if you intend to go inside St. Mark's. Casual dress if you intend to go on a Gondola ride or spend time shopping and visiting the beautiful streets and bridges of Venice. Dinner and overnight in Venice.

    June 14: On the way to Florence, visit Pisa. Tour of Florence in the region of Tuscany. Tour of the Ponte Vecchio and the Piazza della Signoria. Dinner and overnight in Florence.

    June 15: Florence: After breakfast, visit the Piazza Santa Croce and the church containing the tomb of Michelangelo, Galileo, and Machiavelli. Tour the Uffizzi, Michelangelo's masterpiece, The David, Flea Market, Duomo (Cathedral), and the Baptistery. Tour Guide will show to those interested the location Medici Chapel , Basilica della Santa Croce. Dinner on your own (20 Euros) and overnight in Florence.

    June 16: After breakfast, stop in Assisi. See the tombs of St. Francis and St. Clare;. Visit the Porziuncula located inside the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli. Stop for lunch and then visit the Rocca Maggiore Castle which dominates the entire skyline with its impressive battlements. Spectacular views of the Spoleto valley and Assisi itself can be found at the piazza located in front of the castle. Depart around 3 or4. Arrive in Rome around 7, welcome group dinner and overnight in Rome.

    June 17: Morning visit for Mass at St. Mary Major, the main Basilica dedicated to Mary in Rome. Visit the Scala Sancta right after we experience St. John Lateran, the first Basilica ever to be built in the Roman Empire the Seat of the Successor of St. Peter: the Pope’s Cathedral. Dinner on your own (20 Euros) in Trastevere and overnight in Rome.

    June 18: Start the day by visiting the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel (the Pope's private Chapel) and St. Peter's in the Vatican. Then we will travel to the town where the Pope's Summer Residence is located: the charming Castel Gandolfo with its spectacular Lake Albano. Tour the Popes Gardens and have an early group dinner. Return to the Piazza Navonna for the evening in Rome. Overnight in Rome.

    June 19: Free day in Rome.

    June 20: Head to the Vatican to experience the 10:00 am Audience with the Pope. We will visit the Catecombs of St. Sebastian. Visit the Pantheon and will end the day at the Trevi Fountain for dinner and shopping. (20 Euros).Overnight in Rome.

    June 21: Visit the Coliseum, Jewish Quarter, Spanish Steps, farewell group dinner at an underground restaurant near the Coliseum.

    June 22: on the way to Sorrento, Tour Pompeii. Check-in downtown Sorrento after visiting the amazing Amalfi Coast. Dinner at the hotel area at 6:45 pm. Red and white wine included. Casual Dress throughout the day. Overnight in Sorrento.

    June 23: The Island of Capri is the greatest place for many people. Optional: visit the extraordinary, beautiful Blue Grotto with its limestone bottom. Tour the island, shopping, and swimming. Dinner around the hotel area at 6:45 pm. Red and white wine included. Casual Dress throughout the day. Overnight in Sorrento.

    June 24: Fly back home.

    Please note: We do our best to ensure that all sites listed in this itinerary will be seen. However, due to scheduling conflicts, or other circumstances beyond our control, sites may be visited on a different day than listed. If this happens it will also necessitate a change in the restaurant for dinner. However, we will never sacrifice the quality of the meal, all restaurants will meet Proximo Travel's very high standards. Since we have several different trip configurations touring at the same time, it is likely that groups on different tours will be combined when their itineraries overlap in certain areas.
